RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

Each Cuimhne Code plaque is engraved to order for one specific person, so it is a personalised item and not a standard stock product.

14-day right to cancel
Under EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing it, for any reason, without justification — but only for as long as engraving has not yet begun. Because we typically begin engraving within a few working days of your order (see our Shipping Information page for current timings), this window may be shorter in practice than the full 14 days. To cancel, contact us at cuimhnecode@gmail.com with your order number as soon as possible.

Once engraving has started
Because the plaque is personalised to one person, once engraving has begun we are unable to offer a refund or exchange for a simple change of mind, in line with the personalised-goods exception under EU consumer law. This does not affect your rights below if the item is faulty or not as described.

Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items
If your plaque arrives damaged, faulty, or is not as described, contact us at cuimhnecode@gmail.com with your order number and photos where possible. We will replace or refund it — no forms, no proof of purchase needed beyond your order number. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 apply in full and are not limited by anything in this policy.

How refunds work
Where a refund is due, we will process it to your original payment method within 10 business days of agreeing the refund. It may take additional time for your bank or card provider to show the funds.
